Description Position Summary Centralized documentation preparation. The Sr Loan Closing Specialist will ensure all loans are originated in compliance with Bank internal credit policy, procedures, and regulations prior to funding. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Perform pre-funding QC - Conduct pre-funding loan file quality control reviews, including review of credit report, appraisal, occupancy, red flags, underwriting and compliance.Prepare loan documents for various types of loans including Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Term Loans and Revolving Lines of Credit, Residential Construction, Lines of Credit, Consumer Loans, Consumer Real Estate Loans, SBA loans, and Letters of Credit in an accurate and timely manner.Review attorney prepared loan documents for accuracy.Produce renewal and/or change in terms loan documents as needed.Perform Pre-Funding loan documents review for other Pre-Funding Specialist prior to closing. Ensure proper approvals are on credit memos and verify loan document guidelines are accurate. (i.e. collateral, policy, exceptions, fees and payment adjustments).Coordinate with title company, lending assistant, loan officer and commercial attorney to ensure they are ready for closing.Finalize Pre-Funding checklist to confirm terms match loan approval, all closing documents have been executed, settlement statement is what was pre-approved.Communicates with Loans assistants, Lenders, and third-party originating entities/vendors.Other project and tasks as may be assigned by management.Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.Maintains current and up-to-date knowledge and continues professional development through training as applicable.Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintaining a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.Education and Experience RequiredAssociate degree or equivalent education and experience required.Three years job related and customer service experience in a financial institution required.
