This is essential for enabling Aegon's businesses around the globe to be innovative, digital and competitive, efficient, and effective, and to provide the best solutions and customer experience for our customers and shareholders.The JobGTS Infrastructure Cloud teams design, build, support, and enable business use of a Cloud environment which combines services from public Cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. This team creates and implements the cloud security policies and rules that get deployed enterprise wide. You will work on an agile team with developers from internal business units to deliver business value and outcomes. You will help to develop, test, and implement infrastructure code to assist the team in achieving their goals. Work will be done start to finish by an intact cross-functional team using an agile methodology including a product owner and agile coach. Each member of the team brings unique technical skills and strives to cross train to gain additional technical knowledge across multiple disciplines in an exciting and dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop, deploy, and support Cloud infrastructure as code artifacts or modulesBuild and Maintain Cloud infrastructure and applicationsSupport resiliency and scalability using Azure and other cloud platformsMentor junior team members to ensure knowledge sharing and upskilling is taking placeSupport and deliver using continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelinesEnable systems with automated monitoring and alertingSupport the team and customers with day-to-day requests, and change/incident ticketsSupport technology stack refresh on systems (end-to-end) when requiredEnsure automated security is built into each technology stackUnderstand and respond to emerging requirements and ambiguous technology decisionsHelp define transformational and sustainable strategyWe’d love to hear from you if you have:Relevant experience including supporting enterprise-level platform installationsExperience with agile development and planning methodologies  Experience in performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in an enterpriseHolistic understanding of the internet and hosting from the network layer up through the application layerUnderstanding of Azure Bicep, Devops and DefenderAbility to write secure code to protect applications from attack and defend against cybersecurity vulnerabilitiesAbility to give and receive feedback as part of a cohesive agile teamFlexibility and adaptability to change, and continuous learning mindsetCustomer focusedDecision making and problem-solving skillsDesirable but not essential:Certifications (Azure, AWS)Understanding of DataBricks, DataFactory, MonitorUK Compensation:The salary for this position generally ranges between 68,400 - 94,050. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
