SQL Reporting Analyst

SQL Reporting Analyst | Negotiable Day Rate | Nr Darlington Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with one of our newest clients; a Public-Sector service provider based near Darlington, North Yorkshire. THE BASICS: We are looking for SQL Reporting Analysts who can develop reports using the Microsoft BI stack; whilst maintaining existing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports. THE PRE-REQUISITES: Analysts with an in-depth knowledge of Transact-SQL (preferably SQL Server 2012 onwards) including Stored Procedures, Functions and Views, using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) will be of interest. If you have experience in developing complex SQL queries from multiple data sources and strong experience in the use of SSRS to design, develop and deploy Business Intelligence (BI) reports, coupled with knowledge of database design, theory, and best practices around database security you are likely to receive an immediate interview request. Individuals with working knowledge of the general data protection regulations 2018, advanced excel skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail, & good time/project management skills will be of interest. THE DESIRABLE: Hands on experience of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysist Service (SSAS) and other SQL Server technologies that support the development and maintenance of the data warehouse are highly desired; so too is experience in the design, development and maintenance of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes and OLAP cubes.
