Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this wonderful Sports Travel Company who are looking for a Sports Tours Operations Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Sports Tours Operations Executive you will oversee and manage the entire tour process, from providing the initial client quote to welcoming the client back from their tour.
Previous experience in a similar operations role working for a travel company or tour operator is essential to be considered for this role. It would also be advantageous if you are a sporting enthusiast!
The role:
Produce bespoke tour itineraries, accurate costings and quotes for our customers
Taking full ownership of the tour delivery from a client perspective
Working with the tour leader to ensure all details of the group are correct and delivered on time
Dealing with any amendments
Delivering accurate tour documents prior to departure
Administering and collating post tour feedback
Providing outstanding customer service
You will have:
Previous experience in a similar operations role within the travel industry (essential)
Knowledge and keen interest in sports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and accurate written and spoken English
Genuine enthusiasm for dealing with people
Full understanding of delivering exceptional customer service
