About the Role

Connex Education is working with a secondary school in the Alfreton area who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work across several subject, including Math, English and Science.

The school itself is a large academy that provides an exceptional learning environment in an area of outstanding beauty where culture and traditions are rich and diverse. As a Cover Supervisor you will be supporting a diverse community of students aged 11-16 and delivering lessons in the absence of the teacher. They are looking for a Cover Supervisor who is hard-working, resilient and who wants help provide outstanding opportunities for every student to achieve success.

Assignment Details

This Cover Supervisor position is to cover pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence and will require you to be flexible across subjects.

Person Specification

• Must have previous experience working in a secondary setting or working with children aged 11-16.
• Degree-level education or higher.
• A positive and willing attitude.
• Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
