Speech & Language Teaching Assistant

A Runcorn Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant who has the necessary skills to provide support within their Resource base that caters for children with Speech & Language needs.

A newly established Speech & Language Resource base within a mainstream Runcorn Primary School requires a Teaching Assistant to join the team from April 15th 2024 on a full-time, long-term basis.

These children will have a range of different needs, therefore the school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children who have Speech & Language difficulties.

PECS and/or Makaton/BSL experience is desirable

Requirements:

• Teaching Assistant experience
• Experience supporting those with Speec & Language needs
• Contactable, professional references
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS

• Legal right to work in the UK
