Speech Language Pathologist-H Rehab Speech Therapy
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning and implementing comprehensive speech, language and communication therapy programs, setting goals and objectives, coordinating in-service training programs for Allied Health personnel on the direction of the Department Director, participating in research in speech language pathology and supervising students, clerical workers and volunteers.
Work is performed independently under the general clinical direction of the Manager of the Speech Language Pathology Department, and is reviewed for achievement of objectives through reports, conferences and discussions.
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for keeping the Department Manager fully informed of all information regarding the safe, efficient and professional management of the department.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (required).
License/Certifications: Maine License in Speech Language Pathology (required). Certification in Speech and Language Pathology from the American Speech and Language Hearing Association (preferred).
