Experienced Band 5 clinicians who are considering stepping up into a Band 6 role within Starfish Plus are also welcome to apply for the position. Clinicians with a real interest in working with children and young people with a diagnosed learning disability and mental health difficulties are welcomed to apply for the post to join our friendly and supportive team. Applicants for the role will need to have experience of working with people with learning disabilities in a community health setting as the role includes seeing children and young people different settings including their home and education settings. Experience in supporting people with mental health needs is beneficial. We hope that those applying for this post are committed to reducing the impact of learning difficulties and mental health needs on the child/young person's peer and family relationships. We work country-wide in Norfolk so it is essential that applicants are able to drive and have access to be a vehicle.
