Are you a driven, high calibre, talented and ambitious specification sales professional with experience in promoting Architectural Ironmongery or closely aligned interiors or M&E Construction products with a strong network of connections, relationships and a proven track record of success dealing with Architects, Specifiers, Designers, Commercial Design & Build and Fit-Out companies? If so, we are working with a well-established market leading Manufacturer of Architectural Ironmongery, Security & Automation Systems And Washroom Solutions who are seeking to recruit a Specification Sales Consultant to join their already well-established team with responsibility for promoting their full products and solutions in Central London Due to the continued success and expansion of their solutions businesses, our client is seeking to recruit a Specification Sales Consultant to join their team coveringCentral London with a huge emphasis on key strategic specification business inside the M25. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK s leading Manufacturers of Architectural Ironmongery, Hardware, Access Control, Security Products and Washroom Products. Our Client s business is a nationwide, award-winning Manufacturer, working with architects, specifiers, and designers in the private and public sector markets, and are part of a leading multi-national construction supplies group. Industry Sector: Architectural Ironmongery, Accessibility products, Door Closers, Hinges, Automatic Doors, Access Control, Door Hardware, Ironmongery, Locks, Washrooms, Door Hardware The successful candidate WOULD IDEALLY BE GAI qualified (NOT ESSENTIAL BUT BENEFICIAL) and very familiar and established with the Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Access Control and associated products and be an experienced specification sales professional capable of bringing, generating and developing on the company s existing strong commercial relationships through the provision of excellent technical support and expertise. As a key member of the team, you will be required to:
Build successful relationships with leading Architects, Commercial design and Fit out companies resulting in increased projects and specifications. Generate, manage, maintain and convert all new and existing projects and quotes within the specification pipeline. Nurture relationships at all levels via suitable social networking events. Work closely with contractor-focused Business Managers to ensure effective handover of projects to deliver increased quote conversion.
Relevant experience:
Proven track record within Specification sales, with a demonstrable network of contacts at top London A&D practices. Excellent technical skills obtained within the building materials sector with a strong specification/solutions sales background. Candidates must ideally have a background in Architectural Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Door sets or Cubicles.
