Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor



Monday-Friday



£25k-£35k per annum





Role Description the Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor position



This is a full-time Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor role for a family run warehouse who has grown from stength to strength.



As an assessor, your responsibilities will include conducting seating assessments normally accompanied by a healthcare professional , providing specialist seating, wheelchair and positioning products whilst collaborating with the healthcare professionals and clients to identify the most suitable solutions.



This is a hybrid role, with the majority of assessment being carried out in client premises in the north west of England and preparation and administration being carried out in our Widnes location but with flexibility for some remote work.





Qualifications for the Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor position



• Knowledge and experience in seating and wheelchair assessments



• Expertise in recommending and prescribing specialist seating and mobility aids



• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and ergonomics



• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed for the the Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor position



•  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities



•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively



•  Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines



•  Previous experience in the healthcare industry or related field



•  Qualifications or certifications in seating and mobility assessments (e.g., National Register of Wheelchair Therapists)



•  Driving license required as vehicle will be provided the Specialist Seating and Wheelchair Assessor position
