A highly regarded local authority in London is seeking a specialist Procurement Lawyer to assist them with a major project on a locum basis for a minimum of 6 months.The hours for this role can be flexible, so they are open to full-time and part-time applicants, and remote working is available. This is an urgent requirement so applicants will ideally be able to start immediately or within a few weeks at most.About the Role:This is a strategic role and the successful Procurement Lawyer will be working closely with the council's Senior Governance Lawyer on a large, major project. You will be advising on a number of contracts and providing your input from a procurement perspective. The role involves helping Executive Directors draft decision notices and cabinet member reports for approval.
