Specialist Procurement Advisor

A 9 months+ opportunity for a Specialist Procurement Advisor has arisen with the local authorities in London.

Pay rate of �244,41 per day PAYE.

Purpose:

To provide strategic procurement advice and support to the Community Safety and Partnerships division in respect of the recommissioning of Domestic Abuse and related Violence Against Women and Girls services in Southwark.

It is anticipated that the recommissioning will be delivered via Competitive Dialogue. Experience with leading a Competitive Dialogue procurement process is therefore essential, ideally for similar services within a local authority setting.

Skills and experience:

• CIPS qualification OR relevant experience at a proven senior professional level.
• Detailed, up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legislation and rules affecting local authority procurement.
• Experience of leading procurement of services for people with complex needs.
• Knowledge of best practice in commissioning services related to Domestic Abuse and Violence against Women and Girls.

Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
