You will be working in community clinics with the opportunity to develop your skills in complex care or hospital care.You must have good general clinical skills and experience treating high risk patients and a willingness to progress your skills in these areas. The post holder is required to have clear communication and interpersonal skills as well as enthusiasm for contributing to this service, which benefits from being part of this Integrated Trust.Our podiatry service has placement rotations for staff within its own specialist teams, such as Rheumatology, MSK and Diabetes / Wound clinics as well as regular sessions on the nail surgery rota. Our team meets for monthly staff meetings and clinical reasoning sessions. There will be a small home visiting caseload.We welcome your application.Main duties of the jobTo work within a team of podiatrists and assistants providing podiatric treatment for those patients who meet the Buckinghamshire Healthcare criteria for NHS treatment. Care will be provided in a variety of settings including Health Centres, GP surgeries, home visits, hospital out-patient clinics and inpatients.To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual care programmes for a variety of high-risk patient groups with specialised care needs.
