Title: Occupational Therapist - Neuro rehab
Location: South London
Job type: Permanent
Salary: £47,600 + company benefits
I am looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist for my client in South London. They are looking for an OT with experience with patients in a neuro rehab setting to join their therapy team.
**Please note, we are unable to sponsor visas. We require the Right to Work in the UK.**
Responsibilities:
Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
Provide highly specialist OT interventions for a complex caseload in your specialist area
Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area
Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required
Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues
Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases
Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff
Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors, and carers
Qualifications/requirements:
HCPC registration
RCOT registration
Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
Ability to motivate patients over long periods
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
