Specialist Customer Services Representative

Cheshire West and Chester Council offers a dynamic and innovative Library Service.With a network of 22 libraries, a mobile library service and a range of 24-hour online services. You will be part of an inspiring Libraries Team, contributing to the delivery of an innovative community-driven library service.You will have the energy and enthusiasm to assist in the delivery of a comprehensive range of excellent customer focused services, promoting the aims of the library service.You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be able to deal with varied situations in a pragmatic and supportive manner. You will have the energy and enthusiasm to deliver the range of services we provide. Responsibilities include assisting customers with queries, providing varied digital support, operating library management systems, processing and shelving library stock and providing and taking part in a full range of activities for adults and children to help encourage library use and promote reading. If so, we are looking to recruita Specialist Customer Services Representative to fill a position at Malpas Library. We share the library with the school so you will be working with the school librarian. You will be developing positive relationships with our customers and ensuring that an efficient and effective libraryand information service is provided to the public. This is an 11.5 hour per week fixed term position until 3 September.
