Duration – 12 month FTC
·
Shifts – 4 on, 4 off working pattern inc. days and nights (8am-8pm & 8pm-8am)

Location – Bedfordshire
HCPC Registration needed
Our client is a bioprocessing facility based in Bedfordshire and provides services to the biomedical industry. Due to company growth they are now seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the company on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
Role:
As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist you will be responsible for:

Supporting of high-throughput diagnostics using real-time PCR methodology
·
Ensuring all laboratory quality protocols are being followed
·
Trouble-shooting biological assays
·
Gathering performance data for interpretation and presentation
Experience needed:
Suitable applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
·
Experience working as a Biomedical Scientist in a diagnostics laboratory
·
Thorough understanding of PCR assays and the ability to trouble-shoot methodology
·
HCPC registered BMS
·
Experience with ISO15189
·
Experience maintaining laboratory documentation – COSHH & SOP’s
·
Educated to BSc in a relevant biomedical discipline
In return, my client offers an initial 12 month FTC opportunity with a salary of c£30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience.
