This is just the beginning.About The RoleWe’re looking for someone brilliant to join our Special Projects function and play a vital role in taking our business to the next level.The Special Projects team works directly with our CEO,Jimmy on crucial strategic initiatives, such as finding our next growth opportunities or reviewing potential acquisition opportunities.In this highly varied role, you will take some of our most important strategic projects from conception and prioritisation, through to execution, by working with people from all parts of the business. You will play a pivotal role in achieving our company’s growth plans and shaping the way the business evolves.We’re a start-up, so there’ll be plenty of opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get involved in numerous functions across the business - from finance, to product, to commercial deal-making in a fast-paced environment.Working closely with our Head of Strategic Projects,Camille , you’ll also gain exposure to our senior leadership team, who have previously led some of the world’s fastest growing businesses.Here’s what you’ll get up to:Thinking deeply about how we can be the best business in our sector, and coming up with initiatives and changes to our proposition that help us both grow faster and operate better.Leading high-level strategy projects to help us make big decisions, like working out what product to launch next or how to organise ourselves as we grow.Running some of our biggest cross-functional projects, turning the strategic ideas you’ve worked on into reality.Supporting the leadership team by managing key business meeting agendas and business planning processes, for example, our version of the OKR process.Generally getting stuck into the ever-changing priorities of a fast-growth start-up.You've read this far! Here's what we need from you:At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field - given the breadth of the role, this could be in a commercial role at another company, in professional or financial services (eg. consulting or audit).You ideally will have been exposed to M&A activities, whether on the buy, sell or advisory side. This could be working on pre or post deal activities.Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and business acumen to be able to run strategic projects independently.Great communication skills, including being comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels, internally and externally.Ability to use strategic frameworks to provide structure to unstructured problemsAn entrepreneurial drive, ability to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever is needed in the business to make it a huge success.These requirements are a guide as to what we’re looking for, but if you don’t have all of the skills listed above, that’s okay!
