The Role:
- Position: Special Needs Humanities Teacher
- Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons, tailored to the specific needs of students.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to promote active learning and ensure progress.
- Assess, monitor, and report on the academic and social development of students.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the department and the wider school team.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports the emotional well-being of all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), particularly in Humanities subjects.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to differentiate teaching and learning to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
