Position Overview: As a full-time SEN TA, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students facing behavioural challenges. Working closely with classroom educators, the SEN TA will lead the implementation of engaging and immersive lessons while facilitating plans tailored to meet the individual needs of students. Patience, empathy, and dedication are essential in providing the necessary support to keep students focused, assist with emotional regulation, and create a positive learning environment.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Collaborating seamlessly with classroom educators to deliver targeted support for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with challenging behaviours.

  • Implementing tailored learning plans and dynamic teaching methodologies to address the unique needs of each child across both key stages.

  • Cultivating an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every student.

  • Actively engaging in stimulating classroom activities, ensuring the participation and enthusiasm of each child in their educational journey.

  • Fostering strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic and cooperative approach to each child's development.



Qualifications and Skills:




  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

  • Profound understanding of special educational needs, with adaptability in implementing effective teaching approaches.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with teaching staff, parents, and stakeholders.

  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the individual needs of each child, especially those with challenging behaviours.
