Role Overview:



As a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, the chosen candidate will be the driving force behind empowering children with ASD in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. Working hand-in-hand with experienced educators, they'll craft personalized learning experiences and cultivate a vibrant and inclusive classroom atmosphere.



Responsibilities:




  • Power up collaboration with accomplished educators to deliver targeted support for children with special educational needs in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

  • Ignite learning with tailored plans and dynamic teaching methods, sparking the potential of each child on the autism spectrum.

  • Fuel an inclusive and encouraging learning environment, nurturing the social and emotional growth of every child.

  • Activate engagement in exciting classroom activities, fueling enthusiasm and participation in their educational journey.

  • Amplify partnerships with parents, guardians, and fellow professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each child's development.



Qualifications and Skills:




  • Energized experience in educational settings, particularly with children in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

  • Power-packed understanding of special educational needs, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Dynamic communication and interpersonal skills, fostering seamless collaboration with the school community.

  • Passionate about supporting the individual needs of children on the autism spectrum, fueled by patience and empathy.



Location and Hours:



Located in Finchley, the school offers easy access to public transportation links via Tube and Bus routes. This full-time opportunity runs from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, providing ample time to make a positive impact in the lives of children with ASD.
