Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in Challenging Behaviour to join an esteemed educational institution in Hendon, London. This role involves providing one-on-one support primarily, catering to students in either Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate seamlessly with classroom educators to deliver targeted support tailored for students with challenging behaviour.
- Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to address the unique needs of each student, promoting positive behavioural outcomes.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Develop and implement behavior management plans in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, prioritizing the social and emotional well-being of every student.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, guardians, and stakeholders.
Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within KS1 or KS2.
