You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What you’ll do:Lead the kitchen in the absence of your senior colleagues and provide support for the production teamDirect the preparation/duties to the commis chefs, chef de parties and other kitchen staff.Assisting/sharing in ordering, prep, stock control, to running service and clean down.Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systemsimprovisation and maximise the use of existing stocks where necessary.Working with the FOH team to drive the service excellenceWork on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide and developMonitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulationsPrepare, produce and present food to the highest standardWhat you bring:NVQ lv 2/3 or experience working in a busy kitchen environmentBasic IT skills, with Microsoft packages experienceExperience in menu planning and productionExposure to bulk cookingThe enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills.A positive and approachable mannerIf you have experience in the above, but don't hold experience as a 'sous chef' we would still love to hear from youWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
