Due to company growth, we are expanding our team and require 2 skilled individuals to join our team. We are a premium events caterer who looks after premium brands, high profile individuals and luxury weddings in the Cheshire area.
An average working week is usually 7am-3pm and standard industry weekend hours divided between teams of an early and a late. Rotas are as fair as they can be and you will work in a team that supports each other.
Responsibilities: - Assist the senior team in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen - Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met - Maintaining a high level of food preparation and cooking as needed - Coordinate with the events team and to supervise food production aligns with the pre-orders & allergens - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary - Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices - Collaborate with the senior team to develop menu items - Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards - Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements: - Previous experience working in a high-level restaurant or events company - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles - Excellent leadership and communication skills, this role will have customer elements - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Culinary degree or certification is preferred, but not required
