Sous Chef

Our client is currently looking for a sous chef within an exclusive residential care home that supports in senior living and end of life care sectors, playing an essential role in the lives of its residents and patients.
We are looking for an sous chef to work closely with the c hef Manager . You will be working 37.5 hours per week + paid overtime,. For the right sous chef you will be working 8 hour straight shifts 5 days out of 7. As the sous chef will oversee asmall team of gas and work towards becoming a chef manager in your own right with training available.

You will Be:
Able to as the sous Chef manage a kitchen of 4 staff
Previous sous chef experience.
Minimum requirement is a chef de partie even if you havent worked in care homes/ education previously
Passionate about food and great service
Innovative and creative
Ideally have NVQ level 1 and 2 in Professional cookery
Demonstrate great attention to detail
Have good Health & Safety knowledge
A sous chef who can focus on serving hearty, well balanced meals
Provide daily breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
Keep up to date with the menus and what food is on offer.
Ensure that COSHH, food safety, and health and safety legislation are followed.
References and DBS check required.
