Our client is looking for a Sous Chef to join their current team.

About the role 


  • The role will involve supporting the Chef aswell as kitchen assistant duties 
  • To supervise the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager
  • To prepare and cook food for presentation to the service users
  • To assist the Chef Manager in the planning of menus to achieve and maintain budgeted food cost.
  • To carry out stocktaking and food rotation procedures under the instruction of the Chef Manager
  • To comply with statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at Work.

There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
