A rare and mouth-watering opportunity has presented itself for an experienced *Sous Chef* to join a team in the execution of the very best food in our well established and Notorious Kitchen.Our 2 AA Rosette label is a testament to the high standards and talent of the brigade, and they are now looking for a *Sous Chef* to join them in the pursuit of excellence.*The Sous Chef role *for us, is one of the most important within the business and we want our new in-coming Chef to realise their ambitions as much as we want to realise ours. Our food offering is high-end and diverse and our kitchen team, motivated and meticulous in the execution of it. The *Sous Chef* will be as adept at change as they are at producing consistently perfect food.*You *as the *Sous Chef *–* Will have the experience needed to deliver creative and enviable food for our guest.* Will have all current/up-to-date certification for food safety and allergen awareness.* Can adapt to change in a professional and inspiring manner, communicating effortlessly with those around you.* Can Inspire your Junior Chefs and train and mentor them in an engaging manner.* Enhance the desire to win and build your philosophies around this communal work ethic.* Can communicate expertly in both a verbal and written situation. Making all correspondence clear and respectful.Will have all the necessary attribute of a “born to do this” Chef.* An eye for detail.* A creative streak.* A professional appearance.* The stamina required to deliver.* The skill to be calm and unflustered.The *Typical Responsibilities* of our *Sous Chef* will be –* To support the Head Chef in the delivery of our spectacular menu, including planning and development.* To ensure the highest standards of health & safety are always met and that the kitchen is always compliant.* To be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen* To follow, support, push and improve, the highest levels of standards in terms of what we produce for our guests.* Train, encourage and motivate all junior chefs, and enable them to progress and learn in an inclusive environment.* To be responsible for the control and replenishment of all consumable stock and ensuring that all orders are received in their entirety and distributed and available as appropriate.* To support the Head Chef in ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, storerooms, fridges and other associated areas and that they are in line with all current legislation regarding food safety and HACCP.* To record and maintain accurate daily and weekly checks regarding Health & Safety and Hygiene.* To communicate, in a friendly and professional manner, with all other departments in relation to any guest requirements and that our obligations to them are met in full.If you believe that this role is the one you’ve been looking for, contact us by any of the following methods.
