Looking for an experienced, hardworking and passionate Sous Chef to support the kitchen team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing fresh food, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare food in a timely manner.
Clean work areas and kitchen areas.
Manage financial risks.
Be a leader and mentor to junior team members.
Organises and sets up the assigned section as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximise productivity.
Ensures that all dishes are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
Assists the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in ensuring that all culinary standards comply with company and Hotel Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
