We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Digital and Technology operation!
·Job Title – Sourcing Manager - Technology
·Location – Bury Head Office (BL9 8 RR) - Plus regular travel to key Group locations, as required.
·Working rota – Mon - Fri 8.30-5pm.
·Working hours – 40 hrs/week
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Sourcing Manager, you'll be doing the following:
You'll support our sourcing lead with commercial support including risk management, supplier identification, planning and re-tenders across multiple divisions ensuring commercial clauses are negotiated within agreements. You will take full ownership of end to end strategic procurement projects, manage your own vendor relationships, and be responsible for devising and implementing strategy.
You'll deliver margin, sales and operational improvements to support our sourcing strategy. This will primarily involve expenditure managed from our UK and European businesses but may expand to world-wide where leverage opportunities exist.
You'll ensure that you are strategically enhancing our current processes in line with the categories commercial goals. You will take full ownership of end to end strategic procurement projects, manage your own vendor relationships, and be responsible for devising and implementing strategy.
What We're Looking For:
Commercial experience within faced-paced omni-channel retail and/or relevant services experience
Confidence to own problems and issues, propose solutions and ensure deadlines and/or business goals are achieved
The ability to analyse data, identify and initiate opportunities to deliver margin improvements
