Sonata Application Specialist (Glasgow 2 days per week)
Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with one of the UK's leading pensions and mutuals companies in Glasgow who are looking for an experienced Sonata Application Specialist to join their team. Our technology team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and user-friendliness of applications and services for both internal and external users.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Application Specialist within our development team, reporting to the Application Specialist Lead. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the delivery of Sonata and Application Support within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with analysts to gather requirements, analyse solutions, and design processes for new projects.
Utilise Sonata to problem solve solutions for new project developments.
Design and implement workflow models within Sonata to support business processes.
Configure Sonata across different aspects of the software to align with business needs.
Debug workflow failures and provide support to resolve issues.
Maintain Sonata Source of Truth environment, including out-of-hours production deployments.
Enforce strict release processes for development.
Conduct business and data analysis, presenting complex concepts to various stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Desire to learn and capacity to multitask effectively.
Proven initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent understanding of Life, Pensions, and Investment products in the financial services industry.
Experience with regulatory projects within Life and Pensions.
Proficiency in Sonata and awareness/experience of workflow solutions.
Familiarity with MGM Talisman (desirable).
Knowledge of T-SQL/P-SQL (not essential).
Proficient in using JIRA for task updates and tracking.
Salary:
Up to £45k
Hybrid:
2 days per week in Glasgow.
