Do you thrive on the intricate dance between applications, cloud services, APIs, and security protocols? If so, we want you to join an architecture team as a Solution/Platform Architect!As a Solution/Platform Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing key solution components that form the backbone of our digital ecosystem. Your expertise in applications, cloud technologies, COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions, APIs, hosting environments, identity management, and security will be instrumental in shaping the future of our technological landscape.Key Responsibilities:Architectural Design: Develop and maintain comprehensive solution architectures that align with business objectives, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and security.Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and project managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in solution designs and implement robust security measures to mitigate them effectively.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, performance, and maintainability of our solution architectures.Requirements:Proven experience as a Solution/Platform Architect or similar role, with a deep understanding of solution architecture principles and best practices.Strong knowledge of applications, cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), COTS products, APIs, hosting environments (on-premises and cloud), identity management, and security protocols.Proficiency in architectural modeling tools (e.g., UML, ArchiMate) and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF Certified) are a plus.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that impact millions of users worldwide.Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and innovation.Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at James Adams by 2xGet notified about new
