Ok I think I’ve got most of that covered, what will I be doing day to day?
You will take ownership of a Solution Design, shape the solution, and communicate it to all members of the project team. This will cover technical, architectural, functional and impact and risk elements of the design and you must be able to convey this to technical and non-technical members.
You will be able to present options, risks, recommendations in a language and a way that shows understanding and technical leadership is essential.
You will make interactions happen with business domain experts and therefore must be comfortable acquiring and using business domain language and knowledge to convey concepts and recommendations.
You will engage with and direct technical teams in delivering the Solution. Guiding the development and testing of the solution.
As a Solution Architect you will be able to engage and operate across a broad range of technologies including relational and non-relational database systems, integration platforms, application containers, and cloud infrastructure.
Obviously there’s a lot more to this than everything that’s above so if you’re curious and want to learn more we’re always available to chat through things!
