Solicitor - Family/MatrimonialLocation: TringSalary: Up to £50,000pa pro rata
My client is looking for an experienced solicitor in Family/Matrimonial with the experience to work largely unsupervised, ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE.Initially this will be a part time role for a maximum of 3 days a week but this could increase depending on workload and desire for more hours. Shared Secretarial support will be available for this role.Membership of Resolution and/or the Law Society Family Law Accreditation Scheme would be an advantage but not essential. The salary is from £40,000 - £50,000 pro rata, depending on qualifications/experience.Main/General responsibilitiesTo manage all client work allocated and in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards.To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and on costs.At all times to exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner.To ensure the confidentiality and security of all of the firm’s and client documentation and information.To achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.In close liaison with the bookkeeper, to have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters.To comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors.To maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.To ensure good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff.To take responsibility for and attend to self-development.In conjunction with the firm, to comply with the relevant training requirements of the Law Society/Institute of Legal Executives and to assist with in-house training as may be required.In liaison with the Principal, to be active in promoting the services of the firm and its image and ethos Location: TringSector: LegalSalary: Up to £50,000pa pro rataReference: 2375Job Type: Part-time
