Role Overview:
Our client is looking to recruit a full-time Technical Designer to join their team to support their ongoing growth.
Your primary focus will be the design of small to medium commercial solar projects and to offer in-house technical support to installation partners.
Youll be designing renewable technology solutions using specialist design software such as Open Solar and PV Sol to perfectly suit our customer's consumption, matching up the perfect energy generation by a solar PV system to be sold as a PPA package.
Desirable:
- Electrical Design Experience.
- Good Electrical and Solar PV knowledge.
- Open Solar or PV Sol Experience
- Experience with PPAs
- Driving Licence (but not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
Working with suppliers and sub-contractors to develop and deliver technical solutions, primarily for domestic and commercial Solar PV.
Carry out system design, including shading analysis and 3D modelling.
