Role: Project Manager within the Solar PV Industry Required Urgently

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: �55,000 - �65,000pa + Car Allowance and Company Benefits

My client is a highly reputable M&E contractor based in West Yorkshire, but has projects in different sectors of the M&E industry across the UK.

Part of the company is their renewable's arm and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to look after their projects.

As the Project Manager you must possess the following:

• Prior experience within the PV Solar industry for a minimum of 2- 5 years.
• Managing the design, pricing and installation of PV solar panels
• A good communicator, able to deal with a range of people, tasks and obligations.
• Well organised, self-starter, able to implement procedures and effectively manage all aspects of the works.
• Commercial knowledge and ability to negotiate terms with a range of parties.
• Good people skills.

You will be asked to:

• Complete all projects to client scope
• Assist with design works
• Price works and provide quotes to the client
• Formulate, develop and monitor a program of works, which starts at tender stage then is progressed into construction status with more detail.
• Produce & present pre-start presentations to clients and staff.
• Setting up and chairing sub-contractor and client progress meetings throughout the construction period.
• Contribute to the formulation of monthly financial reports.
• Manage sub-contractors and staff on site.
• Ensure quality is controlled and maintained through the projects.
• Oversee H&S on site ensuring compliance.
• Manage successful handover of projects and the aftercare that follows.
