Software Test Engineer- Southampton - £40k - £45kHexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world renowned Electronics manufacturer based in Southampton who are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to help Test and deploy a range of precision Electronic devices.The company are recognised globally, and are expanding because of a healthy order book. The company are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to run Manual and Automated testing for a range of new and existing products.This is a Software Test role focusing on Embedded device testing. Due to the nature of the work, this will be a mostly onsite role with occasional remote working.Key Requirements: Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer science, Maths, Physics or similar 2+ years commercial Test experience for non web projects (Desktop, Embedded, Systems etc) Good experience working with version control tools Experience using C/C++ or Python for building scriptsThe company are looking to offer circa £45k along with an excellent benefits package.
