Headquartered in London but as a fully remote position, you'll be the Engineering Manager for a rapidly expanding team. We are looking for an accomplished leader, with the ability to motivate individuals and get the most out of them.
Engineering Manager Experience/Responsibilities:
In depth understanding of Agile software engineering lifecycles, managing green and brownfield engineering programmes
Strong experience with Java tech stack, (rest assured this is not a hands on developer role!)
Solid experience in commercial software development across web, cloud and enterprise server development
Experience in managing continuous delivery cycles in cloud first software environments such as AWS or GCP.
Solid experience supporting, mentoring and develop high performing engineers
Ability to empower teams by creating an environment they can succeed in, using servant leadership techniques to inject purpose, autonomy and mastery
Responsibilities
Build trust across function to maximise opportunities and create a sustainable engineering environment
Guard your squads from everyday distractions, focusing their efforts on the true goals
Maintaining high levels of engineering standards, working practices and behaviour's across the team
Ability to scale the team, securing the best engineering talent into one of the most sort software after environments in the UK!
