We want to talk to you! Join our communityThis role will be situated within Sales, Underwriting and Fulfilment subdomain under the Homes CIO, working alongside our technical colleagues to define the strategy, plan & deliver our key areas that meet our Homes Transformation programme. The purpose of the role is to lead technical team(s) and drive deliveries within our subdomain, which is focussing on delivering new functionality to enable us to improve business operational processes & reduce obsolescence. The difference you’ll makeReviewing, interpreting and responding to detailed user stories/ businessrequirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future Digital capabilities and the strategic planProviding input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investmentDefining and designing technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives including technology solutions and changes toservice, process and/or operating modelsDeveloping and implementing technology solutions to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframesDesigning and delivering projects from inception through functional analysis of user stories/ requirements, the approval process for business case development, project execution and operational handover to align technological solutions and transform the processes and systems to meet emerging business requirements What you’ll bringProven experience in Solution Analysis and Design within Finance, Risk or in a financial institution using Agile FrameworksExperience in managing business stakeholders in complex scenarios requiring political awareness and negotiation skillsExperience in people management and delivering through others, providing support, and motivating members of the teamSelf-driven, autonomous, and able to work towards a set goal/purpose achieving the right results and reporting to senior stakeholdersStrong technical background and Ability to manage highly technical teams It would also be nice for you to have.Business Process Design experienceTechnical Architecture BackgroundMortgages sales application backgroundSQL and data analysis skills What else you need to knowWe want our people to thrive at work and home, and we recognise that many people benefit from flexible arrangements.
