Software Engineer (Trading Domain)
Our client, a leading provider of financial software systems, is seeking skilled software engineers to join their dynamic and global team. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, delivering innovative solutions for real-time trading platforms in the post-trade market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance software for greenfield and brownfield projects.
Propose and implement improvements in development and support activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve production system issues.
Maintain and upgrade existing software.
Collaborate effectively with various teams to manage dependencies.
Required Experience:
Proficiency in C#, Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, Docker.
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with messaging (MQ, FIX), GitLab source control, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is a plus.
Background in financial services and knowledge of securities lending, repo, and MBS is advantageous.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate code to new codebases.

Salary up to £70K
Bonus 15%+
