Senior Software Engineer at a Market Research Innovator
Cambridge - Hybrid - 3 days per week

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for cloud architecture and a broad technical skillset. What You'll Do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
Contribute to the software strategy and architecture of cutting-edge market research tools.
Develop, maintain, and manage applications, tools, and services.
Ensure performance, stability, and security of data collection and processing platforms.
Manage application and database deployments and infrastructure.
Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver client-centric data platforms and applications.
Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, continuously exploring and integrating new technologies.
Tools and Technologies:
You'll work with a diverse range of tools, including but not limited to:
Backend technology, Python.
Databases like MSSQL.
Front-end technology, Java.
Cloud platform, AWS.
Programming language, JavaScript (React.js)
Big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
What We Need from You:
Essential Skills:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Python, MS SQL, Java, AWS, JavaScript.
Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and automated testing.
Ability to work in a self sufficient capacity.
Strong problem-solving skills and a 'gets things done' mentality.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies.
