Job DescriptionJob Title: C++ EngineerLocation: Reading, South East, UKType: ContractDuration: 12 MonthsInside IR35 // No Sponsorship Available // On-site working requiredBe part of the team developing a Design and Verification Tool to support multiple HW/RF projects for our 4G/5G portfolio, this is developed in C++Responsibilities:Software development and maintenance of GUI frontend, XML/SQL backend, RF equipment interface, RF tests and chipset calibration... Software postprocessing & visual interface: plotting/PFC Interact with various teams like Software Platform team for RF drivers and interfaces, Hardware Platform team for calibration procedures, Validation team.Provide broad technical expertise, analyse issues & isolate bugs whether FW, tool, test equipment or HW regressionPropose future evolutions needs, advise prioritisation and implement changesManage GUI interface, documentation updates and be responsive to fix issues as they ariseUse Excel templates and macros to generate test reportsRequirements:Engineering degree/MSc in Computing, Maths or EngineeringLanguage C++11 - Windows/Linux development7+ years work experience in C++ programming (working on ATE tools in telecoms environment a plus)ATE troubleshooting and problem solvingUnderstanding JSON/SQLwxWidgets or QT is a plusBasic Understanding RF performance metrics highly desirable Understanding of LTE/5G testing is a plus Knowledge of production ATE environment, sockets, timing constraints, statistical spread, RMA is a plusIf this sounds like it could be of interest to you, please send your CV to #####
