Software Engineer Team Lead

Salary - �50,000 - �69,000

Hybrid - 3 days a week on site

Location - Yeovil, Somerset

MUST be eligible for SC Clearance.

You will be working within the Defence and Maritime sector working on submarine systems, supporting the delivery of multi - billion pound projects.

• Designing technical solutions and providing software development and testing of those solutions
• Supporting system test and integration activities
• Producing technical documentation and managing of requirements
• Reporting progress
• Leading a team of software developers - planning, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing work of the team
• Coaching more junior staff

Skills and Experience

• Experience of the software development life-cycle and processes (e.g. design, coding, unit testing), and tools (e.g. UML design tools, code IDEs)
• Experience with desktop-based applications such as C#, C++ or Java
• Windows or Linux O/S
• Object-oriented design/development including UML, SysML or XML
• Lead a team previously (small or large)
