We are looking for a strong mobile developer with experience in delivering iOS and Android mobile apps using React Native from conception all the way to release. Every engineer in our teams plays a key role, so you’ll need to be comfortable thinking on your feet, learning new technology, and pushing for impact. But you won’t be doing it alone: you’ll have the support of a cross-functional team around you, including backend engineers, designers, and product people. The role:Work in a small, cross-functional squad on feelgood money featuresMaking our iOS and Android applications more robust and delightfulMake sure we have all the infrastructure in place that we need to build fast and cleanLearn new skills, whether it's about deploying mobile apps or the latest intricacies of TypeScriptCollaborate with designers on ways to make the Zopa app truly feelgoodDeliver fast, semantically clean React Native codeAbout you:Strong commercial experience working with React NativeSolid understanding of version control tools (ideally Git)A passion for your craft and doing things “right” (semantics, validity, maintainability…)An interest in our mission and strong customer focusPrevious work with backend APIsHave published apps in Google Play or Apple StoreAdded bonus:Working knowledge of TypeScript and ReduxUnderstanding of native iOS using Swift or native Android using KotlinExperience with React Query would be highly desirable #LI-JH1
