Introducing Ear, our best-ever audio experience, and Ear (a); the brightest, most vivid new member of the Nothing family.If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, read on...The Role:As a Software Engineer for New Interfaces, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge AI features. You'll collaborate closely with a team of talented engineers and researchers to go beyond what's possible in mobile AI. You’ll work in a brand new research and development team to push the boundaries of our products and solve some of today’s most exciting challenges.Responsibilities:Leverage LLMs to build transformative experiences across our portfolio of devicesIdeate, build and iterate quickly on projects that span speech recognition, sound and image generation, behavioural understanding and data collection at scaleDevelop and fine-tune models to power cloud and on-device functionalitiesOptimise our systems’ response latency and closely monitor the impact on users’ end-to-end experienceDrive new features from prototype to production by collaborating closely with designers and other engineersRequirements:Bachelor degree or above, major in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence or related fields, with proven experience of hands-on development;Have worked as a Software Engineer in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt new developments in AI to our products;Experience integrating LLMs in production with streaming and pipelining techniques and writing evals for conversational AI systemsFamiliar with the architecture and principles of the Android system We are an equal opportunity employer and will always promote a more diverse and inclusive environment.
