LG Electronics VS is a leading system supplier in the fields of in-vehicle infotainment, telematics and electrification.LG –Innovation Partner for Vehicle Electrification - Infotainment / Connectivity / Intelligent Driving / SoftwareSoftware Engineer (m/f/d) Telematics – Coventry office in the UKYour Tasks:Support local debugging activities (SW issue reproduction, log capture/analysis, and problem solving)Good SW background in Automotive IndustryPerform root-cause analysis, use data to identify the scope and scale of impactProvide technical support for SW issues debug and resolutionsManage JIRA Ticket system and take an ownership of issues from start to finishEngage with customer face to face / attend meetings and cascade information to relevant partiesContribute to the development of product / system architecture based on elicitation and understanding of client needs/requirementsWork with SW Engineering team in HQ (Korea) and with our 3rd Parties (worldwide) to support SW implementationActive involvement in regular and irregular communications including meetings with customers is neededPerform validation test based on LG test process, and reporting/Managing validation resultsOn-site support to JLR plants dealerships and other customer sites including EU travelYour Expertise:Degree level in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of experience and educationExperience in Telematics or in Automotive (at least 4-5 year of experience is desired)Experience working with Linux OS or QNX-based hypervisor SW platform is a plusExperience in CAN networks and taking CAN tracesExperience in Jaguar Land Rover system and processesKnowledge of software engineering and process maturity modelsPositive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive resultsPlease send us your complete application documents including earliest start date and salary expectations to: ##### look forward to hearing from you!
