Software Engineer - 55520 - Up to £41.60/hr Umbrella

Do you have software engineering skills and programming language knowledge, and are you seeking a new contract in Basildon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a full-time Software Engineer, and the role comes with an umbrella contract rate ranging between £38.83-40.68/hr Umbrella (inside IR35).

As an automotive Software Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the software process and tools to deliver agile software.

To apply for this role, you will need knowledge of software development and a degree in an engineering discipline or possess significant software experience. You will also require the following:

• Software engineering skills covering the V cycle, and C or derived C Programming language knowledge
• Software development in a real-time embedded context
• Ability to respond positively on time limited issues and to prioritise several tasks
• Experience working in an Agile Release Train where multiple scrums contribute towards the ART objectives.
• Model based design experience, ideally using Embedded Coder for the code generation engine.

The role will involve hybrid working (3 per week on site).
