Job DescriptionJob Title: Software Developer Technical Lead (PHP Laverel)Location: Sawley (hybrid -3 days in office)Salary: £50,000 - £90,000My client is a small dynamic and innovative web design agency specialising in crafting bespoke digital experiences for clients across various industries. They pride themselves on their creativity, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed our clients' expectations. This position requires travel to the office 3 times per week. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Technical Lead to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with expertise in PHP Laravel, WordPress, and React/Vue. In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects, managing teams, and driving technical excellence across all aspects of their development process. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role within a small agency and play a key role in shaping the future direction of their technical strategy.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and stakeholders, to define project requirements, establish timelines, and allocate resources effectively.Architect, develop, and maintain custom web applications and websites using PHP Laravel, WordPress, and React/Vue, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement best practices to maintain high code quality and adherence to coding standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, evaluating new tools and frameworks to enhance our technical capabilities and drive innovation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in web development, with a strong proficiency in PHP Laravel, WordPress, and React/Vue - ESSENTIAL Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.This client is actively interviewing candidates - please apply today!**The client does not provide sponsorship now or in the future**
