Job Requisition ID #23WD72284Position OverviewAt Autodesk Construction Solutions, we seek an experienced engineer to join us to develop web-targeting libraries and state-of-the-art support infrastructure to build our world-class web applications.ResponsibilitiesAs Sr. Software Engineer, you’ll be Involved with all aspects of web software development with a focus on developing non-UI web libraries, implementing solutions to improve web application maintenance, and helping maintain existing web applications.Partner with other teams, software architects, and team members to build and release pipelines.Contribute to improvements and automation of processes that increase the efficiency of other teams.Deliver high-quality code by following best practices like peer code reviews and coding standards.Document and present your ideas and solutions thoroughly.Minimum QualificationsB.S. or higher degree in computer science or related fieldIn-depth understanding of concepts and processes to support building, releasing, and maintaining web applications (familiar with JavaScript/ Typescript/ React or MobX)3+ years of solid hands-on experience in state-of-the-art tooling, scripting, and programming languages used to set up and run build and release pipelines (Working with Webpack, Jenkins, Spinnaker, or Groovy)Experience with source code management using GITExperience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, CypressExperience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologiesExperience with Relational Database Management Systems like PostgresDB and MySqlDBExperience with NoSql Database Management Systems like AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3 and MongoDBFamiliar with REST API development and cloud-native conceptsThe Ideal CandidateIf you like classic software development as much as you like scripting, integrating tools, and automating processes around building and releasing web applications.
