Job DescriptionSoftware Developer - Preston - .NET / C# / VB.NET / SQL / RESTful APIs / Blazor / Agile / SCRUM / Web We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer, for a global production company, who's tech team is based in Preston. You'll be joining an experience tech team as they look to develop brand new, bespoke systems to cater for their worldwide manufacturing sites. You'll need the analytic mindset, business acumen and commercial awareness. You'll be tasked with speaking to stakeholders, gathering requirements and then involved in the discussion, design, build and QA for them. This is complete greenfield development with a long project timescale. Skills Needed: 3+ years experience in .NET (C# or VB.NET) SQL Full stack development for desktop / web / mobile applications RESTful APIs Agile / SCRUM QA & Testing experience (the current Developers test each others work before releasing to user testing) Desirable skills include Blazor, Automation testing (and further manual testing experience), experience with legacy system migration. You'll be joining a £350 million turnover company, who's Preston office is over 100 people and looking to grow by 50% in the next 18 months. The tech team is UK based and looking to further grow to build and support these brand-new systems. Salary is £45-60K DOE.
