My client based in Hereford are looking to add an experienced IT support professional to their ever growing team! They are very heavy in colleague progression coupled with multiple training opportunities on behalf of the company. With a fantastic modern office with excellent equipment this is a perfect opportunity for the right candidate to make the role their own!

 The Role:

• Meet regularly with the development team to discuss projects and client requirements and       determine robust solutions.
• Writing and testing code, refining and rewriting as necessary.
• Lead software development projects
• Create technical specifications.
• Perform trials, testing and quality checks to ensure strong functionality and optimisation.
• Monitor and support systems. Improve the performance of existing software to ensure it meets the users needs, analyse to identify any areas in need of modification.
• Keep detailed records of development processes. Write operational documentation.
• Research, design, develop and enhance software programs and applications.
• Investigate new technologies.

Essential:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in a C# development environment
• You have strong C# .NET development experience
• You have strong T-SQL experience
• You have architecture and design experience
• You have a thorough knowledge of OOP and design patterns
• Experienced with Web API / RESTful / microservices
• Agile experience and are advocate of code quality
• Self-motivated, detail orientated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Current and valid UK Driver’s licence and vehicle

Desirable:

• Web development – ASP.NET / Html / JavaScript / CSS
• Xamarin / MAUI mobile app development across Android and iOS
• Microsoft Cloud based technologies: Azure, AAD, MFA
• Degree educated
