Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Software Defined Network Engineer to join our client's growing team in Stoke on Trent. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing VMware NSX-T infrastructure to ensure network reliability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Designing/implementing/managing VMware NSX-T solutions, including virtualised network infrastructure/micro-segmentation.
Deploying/configuring/maintaining NSX-T components according to best practices.
Integrating NSX-T with existing network infrastructure and automating tasks using scripting tools.
Troubleshooting network issues/optimising performance.
Implementing security controls/compliance requirements.
Providing documentation/training on NSX-T technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Experience with VMware NSX-T in enterprise environments.
Strong networking skills and understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, etc.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
